Living Literature Camp or Residency
" Living Literature " Arts Residency will require at least 40 hours of in class room of after school instruction
"Living Literature" Two week Camp
Take your curriculm/ topic to a whole new level. We will incorporate a book, language arts or hitory block and make it come to life for your students!
First week
9-9:15 hello and welcome
9:15-10am Teaching Block - learning about the topic.
10:00-10:15 snack & bathroom break
10:15-11 improv/theater games that help us explore the topic we learned about
11- 11:30 characters study- understaning/ creating charachters through improv/theater games- more focus/ acting technique based
11:30-12. Lunch with craft option to work on while we "brain storm"
12-12:30 creating a script/ writing it down
* second week :stage and theater acting techniques and stage craft *
12:30-12:45 break
12:45-1:45 using your feet to find your voice & long form improv techniques " The Harold" to support us in script creation and arrangement
* second week : rehearsal*
1:45--2pm notes, closing salutations
By end of first week we will have a script with lines to study and rehearse!
By the end of the second week we will have a one-of-kind show!
On the last day the 1-2pm time slot will be an open performance to family and friends/classmates for a showcase of our new show for an additional evening performance please add "Yes, and EVENT" to your cart.
+ Gas and mileage 65.5 cents per mile if one hour or more outside the greater Monadnock area.
